I have signed up for an international zine swap with fifteen participants. We have three months to create our sixteen page zine, and have it in the mail to the co-ordinator.
What is a zine? You may ask...
The Book of Zines explains: "Zines (pronounced "zeens") are cut-and-paste, sorry this is late, self-published magazines reproduced at Kinko's or on the sly at work and distributed through mail order and word of mouth. They touch on sex, music, politics, television, movies, work, food, whatever."
Mine seems to be a compliation of my own writings, poetry, and of course, artwork. The timing is perfect too, because perhaps these can be slipped in as stocking stuffers at the Christmas sale.
