"She Leapt"

"The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort, and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself." ~ Alan Alda

Lest We Forget....

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place, and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead, short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch, be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Of the 105,210 members of the British Armed forces of the first World War who have no known graves, 19,660 were Canadian. The names of these men are inscribed on memorials in Canada and Europe, 11,285 are on the Vimy Memorial and 6994 on the Commonwealth Memorial at the Menin Gate in Ypres. On the Newfoundland memorial at Beaumont Hamel are the names of 815 Newfoundlanders who have no known grave. Valour Remembered!
much heartfelt gratitude to all who have served, defended and
made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Thank you..... Krystin and family.

Dear E'cole Mission Central Elementary School (staff, students and volunteers alike!):

Thank you very much for the opportunity to share my creativity within the school's community. I got to meet so many new people, and I carry away with me your kind words and many compliments.

I had alot of inquiries from the students about what it takes to be an artist. Here it is in a nutshell: If you can dream you can do it, you CAN do it! Practice, practice, practice. I hope to see in the years to come, many of us pursuing our own personal dreams.

Thank you again! Merci beaucoup!
