Visual Art Journal

Material Abundance Vs. Spiritual Abundance:

I have a modest car, leaving me hungry for luxury,

But I have my loved ones.

My bank account, eight figures seemingly absent,

But my faith is strong.

My clothes not this season's fashions,

But I recognize my own style.

My house, a small rental unit,

But I know who I am.

I have a part time job, not a career,

But I love every minute of it.

A frustrated undiscovered artist,

Who knows her calling in life and is doggedly persistent.

Great post, Krystin. Damn, you're prolific. I like the written content to this one. Yes, dogged persistence! That is what it takes. Good luck and keep making great art.
